Ketua Umum PP FPTI Yenny Wahid Resmi Terpilih sebagai Wakil Presiden IFSC Asia

President of the Indonesian Climbing Federation (FPTI), Yenny Wahid, Officially Elected as IFSC Asia Vice President

Jeddah – The President of the Indonesian Sport Climbing Federation (FPTI), Yenny Wahid, has been officially elected as the Vice President of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) Asia for the 2025-2027 period during the IFSC Asia Plenary Assembly held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday (01/11).

Yenny Wahid’s election as IFSC Asia Vice President marks a significant achievement for FPTI and Indonesia in the international sport climbing arena. This position reflects recognition of FPTI’s dedication and contributions to the advancement of sport climbing, both at the national level and across Asia.

“My election as Vice President is proof that FPTI has made significant contributions to the development of sport climbing, both nationally and internationally. Not only during my tenure but also in previous periods, FPTI has had a major impact on the progress of this sport”, said Yenny Wahid.

Yenny Wahid, along with the newly elected IFSC Asia board, will serve for the 2025-2029 period.

The IFSC Asia Plenary Assembly is an annual event that brings together representatives from sport climbing federations across Asia to discuss work programs and strategic policies. The main agenda of this meeting includes:

  • Presentation of the 2024 activity and financial report.
  • Planning of activities and budget for 2025.
  • Election of new IFSC Asia board members for the upcoming term.

Yenny Wahid hopes that her position as IFSC Asia Vice President will make a significant contribution to strengthening international collaboration, enhancing the quality of competitions, and expanding the reach of sport climbing in the Asian region.

“My election in this forum demonstrates Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening its role and contributions at the international level,” said Yenny Wahid.
